Main Activities:
- Lead and manage the Finance team in overseeing day to day accounting activities which includes billing and purchasing activities
- Ensure timely payment and collection and cash management
- Prepare monthly financial and management reports including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash flow Statement and any ad-hoc reports as required
- Manage tax, audit or external regulatory matters and liaise with external parties
- Responsible for credit risk management
- Drive the continual development of accounting policies and procedures and operational strategies including reviewing and the implementation of process and system changes
- Keep abreast of changes in financial regulations and legislation and make necessary recommendation to the Management
- Engage in continuous process improvement and special projects
Qualifications / Experience
- Degree in Accountancy or Finance or equivalent such as CPA/CFA/ACCA is a must
- At least 10 years’ experience in leading a Finance Team
- Good knowledge of accounting fundamentals, controls and management reporting
- Prior experience in oil & gas industry is highly advantageous
- Experience in MS Dynamics 365 & ERP system will be an added advantage
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
- Keen eye for detail and desire to probe further into data
- Experience in strengthening internal control and process improvement
